Meal planning does take a little bit of prep work and time, but I promise that it will save you so much stress and brainpower later!

We all have a million things going on in our day-to-day life. the last thing we need to be worried about on a daily basis is, what's for dinner.

Ok, here is my tip

What is something you can prep now, for dinner later.

You need to identify a low-stress point during your day. Sometime when it is quiet and nothing much is going on. Take a look at your meal plan and see what you can prep mow to save you time later when everyone is HANGRY!

Here is an example....

So, on my meal plan, I am making our Homemade Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce. About 30 minutes before you serve dinner, you need to add all of your chopped veggies.

So, instead of waiting until the end of the day to chop my veggies, I am doing them now!

Everyone is at school, I have a few extra minutes before I get to work so I am going to save me some time later by chopping up these veggies, and sticking them in the fridge.

Then, when it is dinner time, that is one less step for me. It saves me time and it helps get dinner on the table faster.

So, what can you do to save some time at dinner this week?

Can you marinate your meat?

Can you get the veggies chopped?

Can you get a side dish cooked a little earlier than usual?

Don't save dinner prep for 30 minutes before dinner! Trust me, everyone will be happier!
